SERVICES
At
BMRW no job is too small.
We regularly make springs, small parts,
duplicate obsolete parts and can restore your old heirloom to
pristine condition. If you can provide the broken part or a good
drawing with the proper dimensions we can usually make what you
need. While we have pricing guidelines for larger jobs we generally
price small repair and fabrication based on the gun and job in
question.
For instance, your granddad’s old Remington single shot
.22 rifle probably isn’t worth the price of a new gun, so repairing
it to serviceable condition shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. Many
times with older firearms a good cleaning is all that is necessary
to breathe new life back into the gun; we recommend that with older
guns you allow us to strip the gun and diagnose the problem for a
minimal charge before you commit to having a major overhaul. This
strip/diagnosis includes a complete cleaning and costs $25.00
regardless of make or model of the gun.
When shipping a gun to BMRW
please include enough payment to cover the cost of insurance and
return shipping – $25.00 for long guns and $15.00 for handguns and
barrels.
Likewise, for us no job is too large.
Our primary work load is
building custom rifles including barreling the action (yours or
ours), custom chambering, trigger work/installation, color-case
hardening, custom metal coatings and award-winning stock work. These
are premium services and are priced according to materials, man
and machine hour labor.
If you want it done right, right here is
where you need to come.
We can use barrels from your choice of
vendor including Shilen, Douglas, Shaw, Green Mountain, Montana
Rifleman and a host of other new companies that are lesser known but
provide barrels of exceptional quality. For actions we can use your
action or those from Remington, Winchester, Montana Rifleman, CZ,
Mauser, Ruger…whatever you want, stainless or blue, fully machine
engraved or personalized if you so desire.
We
will be glad to provide you a free quote based on your requirements.
If your gun job involves a handgun, shotgun or muzzleloader
you’ve come to the right place. Whether it’s building a custom race
gun, installing custom chokes in that favorite scattergun or
building an heirloom muzzleloader that you can pass on to your
children, BMRW is your company. Contact us with your needs and let’s
talk. We do every job like it is for one of our personal guns, and
we’re damn hard to please! Shop Work
